bashveank Posted May 6, 2006 Posted May 6, 2006 Just a few hours ago I was happily surfing the web using IE7B2preview and then all of a sudden I started getting the "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" page at every webpage. I rebooted and tried again, still getting the same error, I downloaded IE7B2 and installed it and got the same problem. This even happens when I try to access a location on my hard drive, and FireFox works fine.I've tried reinstalling, clearing the temporary internet files, the cookies, the history, the form data, the passwords, I've tried spyware scanning, and virus scanning, and still nothing.
KAM01 Posted November 4, 2006 Posted November 4, 2006 (edited) I'm having the same problem. I'm using the AOL browser, but I want to use the Internet Explorer. So please, can someone help solving this problem? Edited November 4, 2006 by KAM01

richardchaaya Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 Hello all...After 2 weeks of googling to find a solution to this IE problem that ur talking about, i finally discovered and fixed the problem MYSELF... Now your case could be different than mine, but let hope not.... The problem is ur firewall.... Open ur personal firewall, and make sure that IE IS allowed to access the network. And that should fix it. If i helped u, u can send me an e-mail on richard_chaaya2@yahoo.com ; thanks and GOOD LUCK...
