[help] restoring windows from linux dual booting

Hello?

If I have XP and other Linux distributions in

dual-/multi-booting, and need to restore XP,

how can I do this?

I have tried "fdisk /mbr" or something like that

to fix and restore MBR but this was not successful,

so I ended up just reinstalling the XP.

I think, I have also tried some "restore" operation

from XP install CD or something like that but didn't

work.

Another scenario is when I have XP, ME and other

Linux distros and want to restore the MBR for XP

and ME, how can I do this?
