MagnumVP Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Perhaps I am doing somethng worng, but when XPlode run then executes the program to install, Xplode takes up the entire processor and doesn't allow the installation application to run at full speed. It took Office 2003 2 hours to install. Here is how I am running XPlode.<within a batch file>%CD2%\install\Xplode.exeI can execute XPlode as a "Low" priority by using the followingSTART /LOW %CD2%\install\Xplode.exeHowever, everything that spawns from that process is also set to LOW. Any ideas?
Zxian Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 Which version of XPLode are you using? I've never had any such problems, although I usually do most of my installs via cmdlines.
MagnumVP Posted April 23, 2006 Author Posted April 23, 2006 It is version 4. I think I figured out the issue. It had nothing to do with Xplode, but more of a slow system configuration. It works on every other system that I try expect that one...which is an older system.I appreciate the response.Thank You
