hi all

first of all sorry for my poor english.

i made my unattended cd installation but i have some problem in it .hope you can help me and solve it.

1-want to copy one file to the last partition of the hard

example:

we have the hard 120gb and this partitions

c,d,e,f,g,h

i want to copy my file to the last partition (h)

but i dont now how to detect the last partition of system

2- how i can change just the message (press any key to boot from cd.....) not to create one boot file

i want the best and easier way.

Detecting last partition can be quite a bit less simple.

Instead, you can just have files copy over directly to a specified drive letter. Instructions below:

1. you'd already have a folder called "$OEM$" in the root of your CD.

2. Now make a folder under it, with the drive-letter to which u want files copied. For example, make a folder inside "$OEM$, called "D", and any files/folders you put inside the "D" folder will get copied directly to the partition "D". You can do it similarly, for drive E/F/G/etc, upto Drive Z!

press any key to boot from cd.....
Changing that text, requires you to hexedit the file named "BOOTFIX.BIN", which is in the i386 directory on the CD.
