Saving, Backing Up, and Transferring Auto Text

Hi All:

I have questions regarding saving, backing up, and transferring Auto Text entries in MS Word 2000 Version 9.0.2720 on XP Machines.

I have many entries added to Auto Text on a laptop and would like to back them up externally.

I would also like to share the same entries with the same version of Word on my desktop.

If I save a document to a thumb drive and transfer it to the desktop it reverts to the desktop's Auto Text entries.

Is there a way to save and transfer them?

Hi All:

Never mind.

I found an answer on a word tips site. I haven't had a chance to put it into practice, but it has to do with saving/backing up templates, normal etc. I'm reasonably sure I can figure it out from here.
