Access DB is locked after 1 access....why?

Okay...I use MS SQL 2000 for all my DB needs, but for a class I have, it requires us to use an Access Database (OLEDB). I noticed after a random access or insert page, the DB is locked and the only way I know how to unlock it is to restart my server (not an option).

Has anyone come across this problem and come up with a solution to a DB constantly being locked even when people leave my webpage?

BTW...Ill gladly post a sample page I use to show that I properly close all db connections/commands..
