cluberti Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 MsnMsgr.Exe is the main executable for MSN Messenger. However, this file has also been known to be seen with issues like this after being infected with he Mytob and SDBot worms. Since this happens on a schedule, check and see if you have MSN Messenger installed on your computer. If not, I'd say booting in safe mode and doing a full system scan using the latest version of your antivirus software's definitions is in order, ASAP.
fizban2 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 whenever i start my computer up i get a application error from several programs.if this is happening for several programs i would check to see if the ram is also faulty, or going bad, bad sectors or ram would cause this if the program was suppose to be written there and that space is no longer available because it damaged or bad
Malcom Posted March 17, 2006 Author Posted March 17, 2006 Msn messenger is installed should i go in safe mode and delete all the programs that give errors?
cluberti Posted March 17, 2006 Posted March 17, 2006 No, but I would update your antivirus and antispyware software to the latest definition updates, then boot into safe mode and use both to scan your PC for viruses and spyware.
