Dropcheck Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 Hi all I've been lurking for several days now. Must say I've quadrupled my previous knowledge on doing unattended installs of WinXP. Thanks to everyone who've posted here. I'm trying to build a totally unattended WinXP cd so that my mom and step father can stick it in their computer, reboot and walk away. When they come back I want them to be able to pull it out and click on the IE icon and connect to their ISP. No configuration needed. That is one area that doesn't seem to be covered here much. If I'm wrong please point me in the right direction. I don't see anything dealing with configuring dialup settings for IE. Now I know about the IEAK and I've seen the registry tweaks. I've tried to use the IEAK and it leaves me totally frustrated. There's a file with the extension .ins that it's supposed to build but for the life of me I can't seem to get it to. Can I get some help here?
