Notify User when their web server is in use?

Is there anyway to notify the user when their web server is being accessed?

I'm no expert so i couldn't tell you how to do it but could you not either get the website script to either email you or send a popup to your IP address??

I can't help with the coding but I'm sure there is code on the web to to do this.
