[Help] - a problem on sharing documents

i have a problem

when i tried to share some folders from my pc to my laptop using local network by the LAN wire just as usuall, on the pc the note said " SharedDocs is not accessible. you might not have permission to use this network resource. contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. the network path was not found".

it seems the problem in my laptop coz on the pc the shareddocs icon are shown but on the laptop are not and whenever i click view workgroup computer on the laptop nothing appears

Try using the Network setup wizard on both machines, works for me.

You have to set the same workgroup on both pcs... press the winKey+Pause, then goto computer name, then click CHange. Set the Workgroup name as it is on your big pc. Restart, that should be it. Bye
