[Error] install problem winxp pro

hello,

i'm getting this msg each time i try to install winxp pro

file \i386\kdcom.dll could not be loaded.the error code is 4

i formatted my disk many times, broke my partition, made it again...but nothing happens.....i'm sure my hdd is ok coz i checked the drive in other computer........i could see my drives.......i have 2 drives..but when i try to see my partition by fdisk, it only shows 1 drive which is primary drive. i don't know why........so i tried to install winxp on my primary drive but it gives the avobe error. I have tried 3 new cd's, still the same problem...even win2000 gives problem.

any help?

is it the same error with win 2k, and is it always that error?

now, i had a problem when it wouldnt copy files correctly, and it was down to, believe it, faulty RAM, changed the ram and it worked 100% fine.

fantastic..it was the problem of ram....well i didn't change the ram though. i just took it out and cleaned with eraser..rubbed it to make it shiny and kaboom...it worked like a charm....
