Word 2000 - how do you change the default font for text boxes?

I am trying to change the default font for text boxes in word and cannot seem to find where this is done.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Don't know, but if nothing better comes up, one workaround would be to create the text box the way you like it, select it, and add it to AutoText, saved as say, 'TextBox'. You could create different customized boxes and store them there.

I have a shortcut button on my Toolbar for AutoText.
