Errors while slipstreaming BTS driverpacks

Hello everyone,

This is my first post so I might as well give myself a quick intro. I am a personal user of winXP, and have been fed up for a long time at how cumbersom and frustrating all the "user-friendly" features of windows are. Not to mention the eventual bloating, and resulting sluggishness of windows after regular use over a period of only a couple of months. Then I randomly ran across nLight, and the UA install of windows: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN MY WHOLE LIFE ILOVEYOUOMGKITEENSPEWPEWPEWPEW!

Whew!

I do have a problem at the moment with Bashrat the Sneaky's slipstreaming app that I would like to see if anyone could correct me with. Note that I am still reletivly new, and I have searched and combed through the forums for about two nights now, but might have missed the solution due to me only knowing the basic search functions. (searched via google, msfn forum search, uaWIKI).

Problem:

When slipstreaming BTS driverpacks in my UAXP working directory, I am getting the following errors:

Bashrat the Sneaky's DriverPacks Slipstreamer - STEP 3

[bUSY]A) cleanup

B) slipstreaming DriverPacks

C) settings

File not found - I386

Error: Could not read from file

*Errors displayed from current Type 2 install running now*

Notes:

-I receive this error when using both Type 2 and Type 3 to slipstream.

-My directory tree has no spaces in the names

-I am using the very latest driverpacks and BaseV602 installer:

_ [OK]DriverPack Chipset V601 up-to-date!

_ [OK] DriverPack CPU V506 up-to-date!

_ [OK] DriverPack Graphics_A V6011 up-to-date!

_ [OK] DriverPack Graphics_B V5111 up-to-date!

_ [OK] DriverPack LAN V602 up-to-date!

_ [OK] DriverPack MassStorage V510 up-to-date!

_ [OK] DriverPack Sound_A V601 up-to-date!

_ [OK] DriverPack Sound_B V602 up-to-date!

_ [OK] DriverPack WLAN V601 up-to-date!

-The driverpacks have previously slipstreamed just fine via Type 2 or Type 3 when using the previous Base(601) and driver packs from about a week ago, and I do not remember getting these errors then. The previous working packs were all slipstreamed after running nLight.

Things that have changed since:

-nLight was upgraded to 1.0RC6 from 1.0RC5 (no noticed difference with nLight stability)

-I have used nLight RC6 to integrate a couple drivers specific to my laptop that do not seam to be covered in the packs (bluetooth, intel WLAN for SP2, hardboard driver), then ran BTS after to add in all the packs.

-I am now trying to integrate both A and B driver packs for Sound and Video drivers, rather than A only for both.

-I am now using BASEV602

-My directory tree has lengthened from "c:\uaxpinstall\xp_working\" to "c:\uaxpinstall\builds\nLightAHPT2\"

During the slipstreaming I get further errors

[DONE]A) cleanup

[bUSY] B) slipstreaming DriverPacks

C) settings

_ [M2] DriverPacks slipstreamed.

_ [M2] necessary files copied.

_ [M2] replaced the real setup by a fake one.

_ [M2] copied PRESETUP.CMD.

Error: Could not read from file

Error: Could not read from file

_ [M2] WINNT.SIF file updated.

Error: Could not read from file

Error: Could not read from file

_ [M2] TXTSETUP.SIF updated.

Error: Could not read from file

And then pages and pages of "Error:could not read from file" when the second cmd window opens.

I hope that this isn't a silly error that I am committing that I have missed time and again while trying to figure out what is going wrong, especially since I can't see any documented conflictions with any of the changes I have made (nlight upgrade, the new BASEV602, pre-integrated a few drivers with nLight, slipstreaming into a deeper folder tree).

Just to confirm to you all how green I am at this process, it just occured to me to actually open up the run_me.cmd file and take a look inside.

Are all these errors poping up because previous versions of the drivers have not been installed yet? So when it is executing the delete lines such as "%IE% I386\adpu160m.sy_ DEL /Q I386\adpu160m.sy_" under the prepare section at the beginning, I am getting all these errors because none of those drivers from previous versions of BTS have been installed on this freshly copied and edited winXP install?

In otherwords, even though I am seeing pages of errors, nothing is wrong with the slipstream process, just the cleanup process? (I don't remember seeing these errors using the previous baseV601 and packs though....)
