[Help] - Repeating the same update

Hi All

Running XP professional with auto update activated. Update checks for updates when I start the PC as it should as soon as the broardband (always on ) connection is live. But it always retrieves the same update, ie Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732). I follow the prompts, down load and install, restart if necesary. It then auto checks and finds the same update is available again. It will repeatedly find the same update a number of time during the same session and prompt to install. What , where, why, ?????. An ideas please?
