automate the rules wizard

hi all,

i have a problem with the outlook rules wizard

i can create a rule fine and if i select "run now" it runs perfectly and does what i want, however is there a way to automate the running of this rule?

if so please let me know, i have googled it and found nothing

it has to be checked (in the rules an alerts box) to be automatically applied...

maybe there's another setting but try this one first...
