Has anyone been able to log on to newsgroups?

I get a message when I try to log on to privatenews.microsoft.com.

Anyone else having this promblem?

Ya, I forgot to mention the error said 502 Access Denied, same as yours....I wounder if they shut them down????

NNTP box type: privatenews.microsoft.com

check "my news server requires me to log on"

Account name = privatenewsmswinxp (note the backslash)

Password = winxp

should work now
