Do you mean the QuickLaunch bar? or the StartMenu bar? The QuickLaunch bar is located in C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch whilst the StartMenu is located under C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Start Menu\
