Sucessfully slipstraming Update Rollup 1 into w2k install

Hi,

I'm trying to create a win2k disc with all the latest hotfixes etc included. I have managed to get SP4 integrated, and most of the hotfixes i have add have worked fine. I am having a problem with installing Update Rollup 1 for windows 2000 SP4 (KB905495).

I have added it to the svcpack.inf, and it installs (it appears in add/remove programs) however WU seems to think it isn't installed - it lists it as a high priority update.

How can i fix this?

I've searched the forums, but not found anything. (please don't recommend HFSlip or the custom SP5 as I would prefer to do it this way, thanks)

You could try installing it with the -u -z switches by executing it in the cmdlines.txt file. It is not integrated but it will execute.

Rollup 1 and Rollup 2 should both work this way.
