Lennart Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Tried to install winVista 5270. Think I didn't quite get it right. It doesn't boot. I do get it to work in safe mode. Thought the problem might be the graphics card Ati Radeon 9250. However, that one seems to be recognized. Then thought of the monitor (it isn't mentioned in the hardware manager, don't know the proper name sorry). It's a nec lcd monitor. Then tried to connect to the internet to get the drivers. However, was totally clueless as to where to do that (dns/tcpip and all that good stuff). Can somebody put me on the right track? Many thanks in advance.
fizban2 Posted January 9, 2006 Posted January 9, 2006 are you going into safe mode with networking? also what you using to get onto the internet? broadband or dial-up and what kind. do you get any errors when you try to load vista normally?
