[Question] - XP Home and IE

Please move to appropriate forum if improper and advise.

I am new to XP Home version. When using IE that came with my XP, I need to learn how to change some defaults. Both my issues concern images.

If I right click an image to save, while usine IE, the default folder is always [my pictures]. How and where do I change the default to [c:\temp]?

If the file I want to save is [abc.jpg], the file name will default to [abc.jpe]. Even the [save as] box has the .jpg extention, but will still save as [abc.jpe]. I must manually change the e to g before [save].
