Problems with MSN 6.2

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm having some trouble about installing and using MSN 6.2.

Well, it's more that I'm not allowed to log in.

I'm being forced to update to the newest (currently 7.5), while my friend uses MSN 6.2 and only is asked if he wants to update, if he chooses not to, he can still log in.

I had to reinstall my whole OS (WinXP) a while ago due to a cpu upgrade (32bit->64bit). Before that I was able to use 6.2 just as my buddy do. The weird part is though, one time I installed 7.5 to try it out. To tell it short, I was not pleased. So I decided to install 6.2 again, and boom - there was the problem. What was I to do? Well, since Windows has the ability to turn back time, I set it back a few days. Yay, problem solved, I got 6.2 without having to update before logging in.

Now, I can't set back time in my fresh OS.

My first question would be why is my friend able to use 6.2, while I am not?

Second, how can I install 6.2 on my machine? (I tried to delete anything in the registery with connection to MSN, did not work)

Thanks for any reply.
