Outlook does not send email

MSQL server (2000) agent sends mail using Outlook 2003 as a MAPI client.

But Microsoft Outlook 2003 does not forwards/sends that mail. It gives error message "This message has not been sent". On the other hand, Outlook sends and recievs emails if I type those emails in Outlook. In other words, it works fine on its own but does not send emails originated from SQL Server agent. I guess there is something in Outlook to be checked or configured etc but i'm aware of that yet.
