sweater Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 We have Exchange 2003 SP2, this is an Outlook 2003 SP2 client. I have my own mailbox, a PST file and another mailbox (support inbox that I monitor) set up in my profile. Came in this morning, started up Outlook, my both Exchange mailboxes appear twice - the .pst file once. This has happened twice so far.Deleting my profile and recreating it removes the duplicate inboxes, but that's going to get a little old. My coworker also has run into the same problem.I am a domain admin, local admin on the machine, Windows XP Pro SP2 and latest updates.Any help or ideas would be appreciated! - Mike
TheFlash428 Posted December 12, 2005 Posted December 12, 2005 Is it replacing the 2nd (support) mailbox with the duplicate, or just adding a 2nd copy of your mailbox? Also, are you running any 3rd party additional software that may be accessing Outlook? (IE blackberry software, email antivirus, etc...).I have a similar setup, with multiple email accounts open on my OL profile, but have never noticed a similar problem. One thing I did notice though, because I also have multiple profiles set up locally I perfer to use "ask which profile to use" mode--but once I loaded blackberry software, this would not work and once I had opened one profile I would literally have to reboot to open another profile, where I should have been able to do this simply by closing outlook, and re-opening it.

Same setup.I was not aware that BB Desktop was that tied to any particular mail profile and hadn't paid too much attention to it since everything's sync'd using the Exchange Redirector anyway.I've downloaded and installed BB Desktop 4.1, so maybe that'll address this issue... - mike
