Posting to public folders

Hello

When I post to a public folder using outlook 2003 I can no longer select which Identity to post it from. Under the View drop down menu the "from feild" is greyed out and cannot be selected. This wasn't the case in outlook 2000. The trouble is I don't want to post under my name , but fom a company department, which does have a mailbox. Is there any way to do this. Thanks.
