Hi gang,

We just started migrating from Windows 2000/Office 2000 to Windows XP Pro/Office 2003. And to be honest, I'm not sure if this is a XP problem, an OFFICE 2003 problem or and LDAP Server problem.

Anyway, we are experiencing a problem with LDAP service. It's easy as anything to configure, but once it's done and we go to test it, Outlook pops up the messge "Microsoft LDAP Directory - No Such Attribute". The only option is to click OK, and then any subsequent address books/contact lists are checked for matches.

Our LDAP server which has been working just fine with Windows 2000/Office 2000, and is a simple little service called "Mail Directory Server" running on an imac (sorry if this offends...lol).

Has anyone seen this error? What does it mean? I suspect that it's referring to a missing piece of data in the LDAP directory which is now required, but was not required with Outlook 2000. I have had no success finding and answer through Suppourt.microsoft.com

If you have seen it, were you able to resolve the problem? and most importantly...what was the solution?

Many thanks in Advance,

Trevor
