[Question] - Windows XP on a Tablet PC

Just wondering, since Tablet is just a variation of XP. If I install regular XP on an IBM X41 tablet PC what features won't I have access to, obvious is the tablet feature. Is there add on packs that I can install to enable these features. I really dislike pre-installs from the factory cause it makes it runs like dog poo with the thousands apps loaded on startup and in the systray.

It is a client, and I don't know if he has the re-install CD which is why I'm asking. I really doubt he uses the tablet function anyway but just in case I am forced to install XP.

You can use an MCE disk set to install TabletPC. It is the Product Key used that determines if the install will be MCE, TabletPC or Pro. If you just install Pro you can download the Wacom drivers for mouse functionality but you will lose the TabletPC software.
