Error Connection on a windows 2003 network

I've been fooling arround with vista for some time now, aside from the explorer crashes, everything looks fine, execpt one thing:

i still can't connect to my shared drives in my win 2k3 server.

further more when i try to install any network clients like microsoft client network for instace, a popup windows appears saying that i haven't the right privileges to do it (i'm admin what a heck!)

Could not add the requested compoment. The error is: Acess Denied

anyone can help me with that?

Not quite sure how to get around it, but I don't have any "rights" problems when I log on as Administrator.

Has anyone figured out how to grant an alternate account which is part of the Administrators group the same rights as the actual Administrator account?

Maybe a local policy?
