Vinus Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Hi every bodyI have Windows XP Pro, XP Home, 2000 Pro and 2003 Server Standard installed in 4 patitions.As all these windows are installed on diffrent partitions, every time I need any of them I reboot and chose from boot menu.Now I am running out of space in my hard disk I have to remove them in order to get space for my data.Is it possible to creat bootable ISO image of these windows partitions and store them in my external hard drive when ever I need them I run them with vertual PC I have.I have Vertual Pc and software to creat ISO image, How can I creat image of partition in order to be bootable and work with Vertual PC.Thanks for your help
InTheWayBoy Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 I don't know if VirtualPC support that...VMWare has a seperate tool called P2V Assistant...the P is for Physical, and the V is for Virtual. So it makes an image of a physical machine that can run in a virtual environment. You still keep most of your stuff, other than exotic hardware. But again, that's only for VMWare.
