Microsoft Onenote problems=/

I have a few questions if you guys could please help me with.

1. What is the shortcut key to change font size? CTRL-[ and ] does not work like how it is in Microsoft Word =/
   
2. When I draw and type, it makes different elements. Is there a way I can group all of these different boxes into one? Right now I got like 15 separate boxes, its annoying.
   
3. I goto Tools/Options/Editting -> Default Front: size 10 verdana. It does not save. When I draw then go back to typing it goes back to size 13.5 again.
   
4. Is there a way to setup shortcut keys for symbols? Insert -> Symbols, is there a way to make shortcut keys for those symbols in there?
   
5. When I draw something and when I want to select a certain part of the drawing with the selection tool. It selects the whole drawing, is there a way around that?
   
6. When I choose a new page /w stationery style, for example: Microsoft Educational Pack Stationery --> Cornell Note Taking Method, after I'm done with the first page and want to add a subpage, how do I get the same style format on the subpage other than cut and paste? New subpage just shows up as a blank page.
