when ever i double click DISKs in windows XP

it will open search function instead of exploring the contents,,

how to manage that problem

Sometimes I have same problem, but I think, what cause of it dirty keyboard with addition keys (with other k/board problem is absent ).

Try this:

Go to Start => Run and type in regedit and click on OK

Open the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT hive

Scroll down to Drive (a lot of scrolling)

Expand this key by clicking the + sign

Highlight the Shell key

In the right-hand pane is a string called Default

If this string has a data value of "find", highlight this string, right-click and select Modify

In place of the Value 'find', type in none and click the OK button

Exit the Registry Editor.
