When I try to boot install it it just hangs on a black screen and a _ flashes in the top left corner. When I try to install it through Windows XP Home itself, the drive will read the disc but nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get this to work?

Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get this to work?building your own MCE? do you have everything for it? do you have the drivers?not all of your drivers will be on the disc. I needed bus and sound drivers. but i installed them afterward.are you trying to dual boot?...you mention Home...MCE 2005 is XP Pro. the media side is a subset.(so i have been told).
