On any document I am creating in MS XP Word, I get a small corner "frame" (I don't know what else to call it) that flashes on, about every 10 secs, for a second or two. When it flashes on, it stalls my keyboard and frustrates the heck out of me. The "frame" contains all the buttons or icons that are already present at the lower left and lower right corners of the document that allow, I think, one to switch how one views the document, and those which allow one to jump to the beginning or end of a document.

I WANT TO GET RID OF THIS THING !

I tried deleting all "normal.dot" files that were on my computer and it seemed to help, but only for the first new document I opened after that. Then Word was back, doing the same thing again.

Any help greatly appreciated.

is it light gray frame displayed four corner of the page ??

is it something like this ??

if its the same then you can remove it by uninstalling unwanted language installed for Office.. Here i am talking about Language Pack for Office.
