Spyder99 Posted November 13, 2005 Share Posted November 13, 2005 Trying to install a Promise Ultra 133 TX2 controller and it requests the file Ulcoins.dll -- the file is not on the installation disk and Promise tech support says it not one of their files. I've done a web search looking for this file in vain. Does anyone know where it can be obtained, or have information about this installation problem? rjz Posted November 14, 2005 Share Posted November 14, 2005 I saw reerences to this on google somone had a WD HD and this file was asked for, Have you tried yuour xp cd? How about your i386 folder? Spyder99 Posted November 14, 2005 Author Share Posted November 14, 2005 Have checked the entire XP installation disk, my entire hard drive, and also searched the WD, Maxtor, Seagate, IBM/Hitachi, and Promise sites to no avail.
