Running runoceex

Hey waz up, im new here and i need some help. I've been doing alot of reading and i started to make an unattended windows xp setup and i've come across a problem and here it is.

I created runonceex.cmd telling it to install all my programs, but now i dont how to make it run from the cd.

Is this possible to do?

Will this work?

%cdrom%\RunOnceEx.cmd

^ that is in my winnt.sif file

Welcome to MSFN,

What you show will not work as the system does not know what %cdrom% is.

Read through the guide again. RunOnceEx.cmd is normally executed from Cmdlines.txt. The %cdrom% variable is generated and used within the RunOnceEx.cmd itself.

Ive always used it from GUIRUNONCE, in WINNT.SIF.. are there any advantages to using cmdlines.txt???
