Right now the users are able to download programs from the net and install them.Network enviroment is Windows2003 Std server with WinXP Pro workstations. cluberti Posted November 10, 2005 Share Posted November 10, 2005 If you set your users up as regular users, and not power users or administrators, most applications will not install (because they won't have write access to necessary registry keys and folder locations). However, users have been able to download certain programs (like googchat), and install them. I would like to know how to lock it down using Group Policy.
