Is it possible to define favorites in Exchange and add them to clients based on their group membership?

We are using multiple mailboxes in public folders, but when a new mail is received, it isn't displayed next to the folder like it would when using a normal inbox folder, but when the public folder is added to the favorites the number of unread items is displayed. What I want is that (in Exchange) defined favorites are assigned to users based on their group membership.
