saitoh183 Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 I found this on the ryanvm forum first download the installer from the link posted above.then go to start>run and type %systemdrive%:\jre-1_5_0_05-windows-i586-p.exe /aafter that u will get 2 folder one called common and the other called program files and a .msi file.use this method to create the silent installer:http://ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=67.doneWhen i do that all i get is the msi and the mst files....no common or program files....

saitoh183 Posted November 4, 2005 Author Posted November 4, 2005 I just did it again but i dont see the folders...my exe is in c:\music\jre5.exe so the folders should be in c:\...? should i be looking for c:\Common and c:\Program Files or Programfiles?

Solid as a rock Posted November 4, 2005 Posted November 4, 2005 (edited) It was the Offline Installer 15.6MBOk, you do something wrong, i dont know what.if you have a other station than C (as if D or higher) please place the file there in the root. go to dos and type jre-1_5_0_05-windows-i586-p.exe /ayou will notice 3 things in the root of that station: a map called "program files", a map called "common" and a file called "J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 5.msi" Edited November 4, 2005 by SolidasRock

So i was curious how to make self one with update enabled...
