1 to 2 hours to take effective when I grant access right by member of

I assigned the group trustee to the folder, then I added the group to the user object in memeber of. User tried to open that folder but it didn't work until 1- 2 hours. After that, I did the work around solution to assign the user trustee directly to the folder. It works immediately. Anyone know the reason?

When a user is added to a group, he/she is required to logoff and back on.

This is why:

a SSID is gererated at logon, and group membership is one of the components that generate the ID.

I am not sure whether I tried to log off before. I will do some testing to see whether your suggestion can fix this issue. Many thanks. Let you know when I fix it.
