I had to delete file SVCPACK.INF from folder I386 in order to be able to integrate the service pack (learned from the web site of TACKtech Corp.: http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?ttid=313).

Its content:

[Version]

Signature="$Windows NT$"

BuildNumber=2600

MajorVersion=5

MinorVersion=1

[setupData]

CatalogSubDir="i386\svcpack"

[ProductCatalogsToInstall]

sp1.cat

[setupHotfixesToRun]

Q816981.EXE /q /n /z

Q811789.EXE /q /n /z

Q815485.EXE /q /n /z

Q816982.EXE /q /n /z

Q329909.EXE /q /n /z

Q329048.EXE /q /n /z

Q816979.EXE /q /n /z

Q327979.EXE /q /n /z

Q331953.EXE /q /n /z

Q328213.EXE /q /n /z

Q813862.EXE /q /n /z

My question: Did I lose something, should I put this file back to the integrated I386 folder? Or I do not need these SP1 files because SP2 already has them? (I still have the SVCPACK.DL_ file in there though...)

I was reading more of the 'Unattended XP CD', and realized that I have to create another file named the same but then I have to delete the SVCPACK.DL_ file. Also: when I followed Windows' Update Catalog as it is described in the 'Getting Hotfixes' chapter, I only found 10 or so critical updates, while on my computer in the Update History I have 67 updates. Can I just download all of those and create this SVCPACK.INF file?

Thanks for any help - Spring.
