Problem with installing an win95 game in xp. (Gems of Darkness)

ever time I try to run the game I get: script error: handler not defined

It has been suggested that this could poss. be related to quicktime that comes with game

v. 2.1.2.59

I've run this game on win95 and win98 with no problems

I've used the compatibility wizard to load this game and reset my virtual memory to correct the first 2 problems running this game but I have yet to find any fixes for this problem. The game manufacturer seems to be no longer in existance, so no help there!
