Installing from the .ISO file

I have been fumbling around with installing Vista all weekend and having no

luck.

Machine Dell Laptop P4 3ghz 1gig ram 20gig HD

I have downloaded the ISO twice from Microsoft's website run the crc305 tool

on the iso file came back valid both times. I have burned 6 different DVD's

on 2 different machines usings 2 different burning programs (Nero and DVD

Decyrpter) running the crc305 on all DVDs and all coming back valid.

The DVD boots fine, loads Windows, allows me to select the computer name and

partition (even format the partition), but once its starts to install is when

I get my problem.

Everytime I attempt to install I get a Windows Setup dialog window "An error

occurred while copying files" about halfway through the initial install. If

I click Ok (My only option) it cancels the install and I am back to square

one.

What's odd, if I dont click OK it continues to progress in the background

but after letting it run for 4 hours it never got past like 98% (aprox).

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
