In device manager, in properties, it says that the device has been enabled but not started.My pnp enumerator is working according to windows xp sp2. Should I reinstall that? If so, how would I do that?I got this error after I reinstall xp, before that every time xp played a sound there would be a bsod.EDIT the bsod would be multiple_irq_requestbtw sound works with knoppixI also tried integrated sound, that didn't work either. I tried reinstalling my pnp enumerator using http://helpdesk.lbccservers.com/tools/alexsPNPfixtool.bat but I just ended up with 2 of them. Edited October 13, 2005 by darkchaos696
