Hello all - this is my first post so please bear with me...

At my previous job, windows explorer in windows 2000 (not IE, but simply browsing files) would bring up a small set of audio controls whenever you clicked on a wave or mp3 file. Please note, that in appearances at least no new programs were being loaded. I currently have windows-xp, and I wanted to see if there is any way that this can be duplicated.

note - I know that windows explorer has the "play all" button under the "music tasks" section of the explorer bar, but this isn't even close to what I am referring to. I will try to represent what it looks like below...

Is there any way this sort of thing can still be done?
