lo all, I would like to know if it is possible to use the boot menu and partition manager of winxp on win98 ? i mean the menu where we can choose to format any hard-drives and to choose where we install windows even if the windows is unattended.

++

[edit]: in windows xp u choose in which partition you will install windows xp and how you format that partition before the installation starts.

[edit2]: when u do an unattended installation of windows 98 windows will always be installed in the installation directory written in the msbatch.inf, it would be cool to choose the installation directory before windows install (like in windows xp) same for formating and partitioning hard-drive (an unattended windows 98, but we could choose which hard-drive we would want to format, do a partition before the setup install windows 98 on the selected/formated/partitionned hard drive.)

I guess no one know :/

The only way to do that is to make a new boot menu ? if yes, someone know how to make windows 98 able to setup where we choose in a boot menu ? :

We choose where we want to install win98 in the boot menu, then win98 is installed (unattended)

thx ++
