Network install Problem

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hi all,

I am trying to set up an unattended WinXP install:

I boot with a network boot disk and map a drive to the install files. I then run winnt.exe

then i Get an error saying that it does not find a suitable hard drive for the install. What am i missing? If I run the install from CD, there is no problem, just via the network.

any advice is greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance.

cheers

NM gents. The drive was formatted in ntfs, reformatted in fat32 and it seems ok

Cheers again
