RedBrain Posted March 21, 2003 Share Posted March 21, 2003 I have the home version of XP (and a cable modem) and I have tried unsuccessfully 3 times to set up my computer wireless in my home, so I don't have to run wires all over.I tried 3 different Brands and each get the same result.It seems to work fine for about 20 minutes. Connects fine with super fast speed. Then blamo......I can't connect to my Outlook or the Internet. Strangely enough I can still send and receive messages via ICQ and AIM. But that's it. The connection to the internet never comes back.I assumed it was some sort of problem with XP, but I have called tech support 3 times and none of those fools know how to fix it or what to do.I really need to get the wireless set up, so if someone could help, I'd really appreciate it.
