win2k3 sp1: remove wmp10

so i installed windows server 2003 w/ sp1 only to find that xplite wont work on this os! so anyone know another way i can strip out windows media player 10 from my computer? i am looking to completely uninstall wmp.

Use nLite.

nlite. that requires me to reinstall windows. i couldnt find any other option so i did that and reinstalled. i got a weird error about not finding these two files but i skipped them and it installed successfully.

although now that i have installed windows without media player i am not able to install media player 9 which is what i would like.
