Herbshirt
Hi,I've tried opening a data file created with Outlook 2003 in a 2002 version, but apparently they're not compatible. Surely that's not the case or there's a way around it.(?) Can anyone enlighten me on this one?thanks,Brad
tap52384
there are two different types of pst's: one specifically for 2003+, and one compatible with 97-2002; i'm assuming that your pst is for the former.
TheFlash428
The only way I know to resolve the problem is to create a new PST file in Outlook 2003. When you do so, select "Outlook 1997-2002 personal folders" option, and then import the data from the previous PST file into the new one you just created. You will get a compatibility warning, but the newly imported file should open in older versions.
