Office 2003 Sounds.

Hi All.

I'm having difficulties with this, I did download this because I like to have the sounds etc going away in the background, so I know I have clicked or opened something,and the key stroke/mouse action has been accepted, plus, to be honest, it takes away a bit of the boredom of having to constantly make word/excel/publisher docs etc,

but, I am not getting any sounds at all when I open any of the applications.

I downloaded the file from the MS site, the file is called Sounds.EXE

and the link is http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en

and after the install, I notice now that in the Media Folder there is now another folder below it called Office97 sounds ?

anyone have any ideas as to why this is not working at all.

or, should the sounds from the Office97 folder be cut and pasted into the main Media folder itself

Hi Again,

well, talk about RTFM, Well, it did say just a little way down the page in the MS download section, to use the Office sounds, click on options and select Use Feedback with sound in one of the check boxes, duh.

oh well, we live and learn.
