Siar Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Hi Guys,Under "old" windows xp you can create alternative keyboard layouts using either MS msklc.exe, or other keyboard managers. However, under x64 the situation is totally different. You cannot install msklc (it says it needs .NET framework, though it is installed). Copying *.kbd files into system directories with proper change of the registry also does not work. So, my questions are:1. Do you know whether the format of *.kbd files stays the same or was changed?1.a If the format stays the same. Do you have any idea where to place *.kbd file/what to change in the registry to make x64 recognize new layout.2. Do you have any idea whether exist any software that allows to create custom layouts. Thanks a lot.
